34 almost 35 weeks!

Well we are getting really close to my goal. Wednesday I will have my mom here hopefully, if her plane doesnt get delayed due to a snow storm in Ohio. I just pray she makes it here on WED. With the way I am feeling, dont know how much longer I can stall out my body. CTX are coming stronger and more frequent. Just want my mom here so she wont miss my last lil one come into this world.

I am so happy I made my first BIG goal of making it to and past the SuperBowl. YAY for that. Had a minor set of CTX that scared me a tad but I made it through OK. Just cant wait for this to be over. I want to meet my son/daughter and hold them in my arms. I need my body back! I am getting the eviction notice ready for this one. Typing it as we speak...LOL

According to my last sono and the estimated fetal weight...I am thinking this one is running about 5.5-6lbs now. Cant wait to see how accurate the sono estimates are in relation to how big this one turns out. I feel like it is 8lbs already....my poor uterus. :(

33 weeks!

So I finally made it to my 33 weeks mark. Had a good OB visit as well. This OB has a nice way of making me feel like I have accomplished something by staying Pg this long. He calls me his "ticking time bomb patient". He expects the call everyday and each day he doesnt get one he says is impressive. :)

My personal goal is to reach 36wks if I can. Want to give this lil one the best chance at not needing any support at birth. So far things are good. Baby is really low and the slow early has begun. This is the worst part of my PG's. The end is always killer. Just 3 weeks to go. YAY!

31 weeks

So today I am 31 wks and 2 days. I am hanging in there with keeping this lil one safe and sound in my tummy. I am trying to focus on future appointments I have to get me closer to my 36 week goal. This week we have an ultrasound and a trip to the OB scheduled on Wed. I will be almost 32 wks then. So only a few more days to go.

Then I will be counting down the days till I get to 34 wks then my 36 wks goal. Some days I feel so confident I can make it all the way but other days I dont know. Today was a get through the hours kind of day. Although I am having lots of CTX they arent the type that are making me go into active labor...so far. Let's just pray they stay the same for a few more weeks for the baby's sake.

30 weeks....and it begins!

Talking about PRETERM LABOR! Went to the OB right at 30wks and he did a fFN test that can tell you if your high risk to deliver or go into labor with in 2 wks....well mine said YES. So I had to go into the hospital today and get some steriod shots to help develop the baby's lungs for just in case it comes earlier than term.

I am home now from the hosp. and when I went in they only ordered an Non Stress Test and the steriods shots. At the time only a few small CTX showed up and the baby looked perfect!!!! so they let me go home. ***There is nothing they can treat me with to stop them anyway...so really no reason to admit me if I am not in active labor.

I am to return tomorrow for second shot of steriods and call the OB office Monday AM for further instructions. I am really happy for the steriods because it helps with the itching from the ICP which I should get some relief from for almost a week. Also, this should knock any CTX down because high bile causes CTX among other things.

Yes I am having a complicated PG but am fighting tooth and nail for the proper care and to get my hubby's employer (Catholic Hosp) to grand me the tubal. So we will have to go before the board of the hosp. to get the approval so they will allow me to get the surgery. I am confident with all my past rough PG's and 3 OB's letters, this will show I have medical reasons for it.

I am having a few small contractions...but not too worried. Not active CTX at all. I know with tons of rest and lots of dertermination I can do this. Thanks again for all the support. -Terra

28 weeks!

So today I am 28weeks PG! WOW! I had my last visit with my fav OB and it was sad that she wont be able to take care of my pg the rest of the time. Stupid insurance is making us have our baby at another hospital she doesnt deliver at. So I am forced to go to a new OB starting in 2 wks. Such a bummer. My OB has been great about this and on our last visit, took extra time talking with us and told me to tell her about all my updates and to bring the baby by after it is here. She even gave Tim a hug and gave the kids some of her cookies. I must say she is the BEST doc I have ever had.

As for how the baby and I are doing....B/P was 118/70 and I gained 5 lbs since my last visit. :( Brings my total weight gain to 25LBS and I still have 8 or more wks left. Uterus is measuring 30 wks along, which is great. And NO preterm labor to speak of.

All my labs came back GREAT as well. So far so good. OB made her last prediction of BOY and asked the kids and Tim what they thought it was. Savannah said BOY, Marcus said it was "NOTHING", and she asked Scarlett then answered that is was "GOO GOO" since that was all she could say. Tim said he is wishing it was a boy. I vote for BOY as well. Now we shall see.

Well when I get some time I will post the 27wk sono pics. Havent had time to scan them. Yes I am bad.

26 wk update:

Well things have been a lil rough around here. The whole Fam has been sick 2 times in the past month. I have been busy taking care of them and myself. My pregnancy health has gotten a lil worse as the symptoms of the gall bladder/liver are increasing. So far none of the docs I see are willing to treat me as I am not bad enough they say. I go to a visit this week and am hoping they will redo some labs and then maybe the labs will be high enough for them to give me the proper meds.

The baby is estimated to be a lil over 2 lbs right now. Sure feels alot heavier than that! So 26 weeks down and 10wks to go till my 36 wks mark. Just trying to get to that point. Hope the 10 wks will go by fast and without too much discomfort.

17 week ultrasound pics

Baby was PERFECT! All the measurements came out right on target. For the first part of the scan it slept then towards the end decided to wake up. Upon waking up, it started to stretch and open and close the hands. Then we got to see it play with it's hands and suck on the fingers. I am already so astounded that this baby has been so active this early in PG. I think this one will be our most active one yet.
We decided to NOT find out the sex so we can have that surprise on the big day. Hey it was a huge surprise so it may as well stay a surprise. Our next sono will be Dec. 30th and in 3-D! Cant wait to see our lil surprise at 28wks.
